QR Code for restaurants: digital menu in 5 minutes
No more laminated menus to sanitize. A QR code on each table links to your online menu — updated in real time, no reprinting needed.
Why switch to a QR code menu?
Instant updates
Price change, daily special, out of stock: update the target URL in 10 seconds without changing the QR code.
Zero printing cost
Print once. The QR code stays the same even if your entire menu changes.
Analytics included
See how many times the menu is viewed, at what time, from which device.
Hygiene and convenience
Customers use their own phone — no contact with shared surfaces.
Create your menu QR code in 5 steps
- 1
Put your menu online
Your menu must be accessible via a URL. Common options: a page on your website, a PDF hosted on Google Drive, a public Notion page, or a specialized service like Toast or Square.
- 2
Create a free PxlQR account
Go to pxlqr.com/register. The free plan allows 3 active QR codes with analytics — more than enough for a restaurant.
- 3
Create a dynamic QR code
In the dashboard, click New QR code. Paste your menu URL. Choose a dynamic QR code (recommended): the target URL can be changed later without changing the printed QR code.
- 4
Customize the appearance
Add your restaurant colors, your logo. Preview in real time. Export in high resolution PNG (1200×1200px) or SVG for printing.
- 5
Print and deploy
Place the QR code on your tables: sticker, printed stand, placemat, or even engraved on a wooden base. A 3×3 cm QR code is sufficient — test readability before printing in bulk.
Pro tip
Create a different QR code for each seating area (terrace, dining room, bar). Your analytics will show which zone gets the most consultations — useful for optimizing placement.
